on Display... finally! Many of the White Knight honors, tributes, proclamations, plaques, and trophies have been rescued from the dark storage dungeons of MMI and are now displayed in a place of honor in MMI's Administration building, thanks to Co-Founder and first White Knight Commander (1950), Gene Hyche. Unfortunately, many of the more than 50 years of honors have been lost, discarded, or damaged beyond repair. Thanks to Gene's generous contributions and donations from other former White Knights, two trophy cases where designed and built in which to display the honors of the White Knights and to preserve the history of the Knights accomplishments. In addition to presenting the tropy cases above, Gene presented a plaque for each of the two cases that reads in part ..."In Honor of Those White Knights who Served Marion Military Institute..."
